Support Groups for couples in a fertility program.
A couple’s decision to become parents is usually a source of joy and excitement.
For most couples, having children is simply an act of love and they are usually not prepared for the sadness, anger and disappointment associated with discovering a fertility problem.
Each individual experiences these feelings differently, at different times and with varying duration. The majority of them, however, do experience these emotional stages at some point before they come to accept them.
The aim of our team
Is to create a nurturing environment, a sense of care and emotional support among couples going through a similar experience. Our goal is to establish a network of support so as to expedite “emotional recovery”.
Our methods are based on “Art Therapy” - music and art. This approach helps couples distance themselves from the problem so as to gain some perspective and the ability to empathize with others.
The program is run by Ms Katerina Chlorokosta.

She is a Therapist and Head of Rehabilitation Centres (with 16 years of experience).
